There's nothing completely clear about the man who called himself Von Dutch. The one thing you can be sure about is that you shouldnt believe everything you hear. Though the stories about Von Dutch are entertaining striping a car for 10 days straight, firing a connon out of his living-room window, fleeing California after shooting at a police helicopter, conversing with invisable martins - they are probably not all entirely accurate. Like a copy of a copy of a copy, the stories have undoubtedly changed, and the Von Dutch legend grown (with some creative nudging from Dutch himself), over the years.
